Sauteed meat and vegetable recipe


  • Ingredients (4-6p):
  • - 800 gr. veal
  • - 2 onions
  • - 3 green peppers
  • - 2 carrots
  • - 4 cloves of garlic
  • - 100 gr. of basmati rice
  • - 1/2 glass of soy sauce
  • - Water
  • - olive oil
  • - Salt
  • - black pepper
  • - ginger
  • - parsley (to decorate)

Preparation of sautéed meat with vegetables

Brown two cloves of garlic with skin in a saucepan with a splash of oil. When they start to take color add the rice, the same amount of water and a pinch of salt. Cover the saucepan and let it cook over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Cut the other two cloves of garlic into slices and the onions in julienne. Put everything in a wide saucepan. When they start to take color add the green peppers and the peeled carrots cut into thick strips. Season and let it cook.

Cut the meat into not very small dice and sprinkle them. Remove the vegetables from the pan to a bowl and add a little more oil and meat. Cook it over high heat, add a pinch of grated ginger, water with the soy sauce and add the vegetables again. Let it cook all together for 4-5 minutes.

Serve the meat with the vegetables on a plate and accompany with the rice, shaping it with a glass or mold. You can decorate the dish with the whole garlic cloves of the rice and a little leaf of parsley.


It is important to know that soy sauce and tamari are not exactly the same. The difference is that soy sauce contains wheat, so you have to be careful with celiac people.
